The series of portraits explores the psychological theory that believes the sense of self to be constructed by how we see ourselves, are seen by others, and are perceived to be seen by others.
A consequential conflicting sense of self is examined through dispersion of the image,
resulting in emotionally charged distorted self-portraits.
